The past week was very good with FxMarkets and Scalpers Group working hard selling the GBPJPY at the right time. Trades were fairly short and there is no trade open now.

ReplyDeleteI have a new version of the index to evaluate providers.
This time a I put more importance to parameters that show drawdowns levels for the provider, assigning a higher factor to these parameters in order to rank first providers with less DD ans less Stop Loss levels that have less chance of margin calls.
So the new for formula is like this:
Parameter, Factor
-----------------
Avg pips, 1.60
Win %, 1.2
Number of trades, 1.2 (to evaluate history of the trader)
users, 0.3 (more motivation to perform better)
Excel calculated:
avg DD, - 5.0 (less lows is better)
max profit stop loss, -5.0 (stop loss in which we get best profit...less stop loss, less risk)
avg -250 hits, -5.0 (-250 DD hits/number of trades)
The new index formula is :
Avg pips/AVG * 1.6 + Win %/AVG * 1.2 + Number of trades/AVG * 1.2 + users/AVG * 0.3 - avg DD/AVG * 5.0 - max profit stop loss/AVG * 5.0 - avg (-250) hits/AVG*5.0 +10
... where AVG = average for first top 30 providers this time.
Max profit stop loss, avg DD and avg -250 hits are calculated in excel spreadsheet (zulu doesn't provide this data).

Max profit stop loss is the SL level that shoud be set to get best profit (according to history)
